William’s Predictions: Television

Imagine this:

• You are watching the Home Shopping Network, you see something that you like, you point the remote at the screen and press a button, and it’s now yours.
• You are watching a Quiz show, you see a question that you know the answer to, you select an answer, if you are correct then you’ll win some money, if not then you’ll be charged some money.
• Interactive Television Channels might appear, such as the weather channel becoming globe that displays on your screen, you select your location and it shows you the weather forecast.
• The News Would be divided into categories which you could select what you would like to know about, you could select only the categories that you wanted and leave out the rest of the bad news.

All of this could be possible in the future. Actually, it’s possible today, Just look at the Wii.

IT HAPPENED AGAIN!( Sort Of… )

I was sleeping, when I heard a Loud Scream that woke me up.
I ran to the living room, thinking that there was some sort of emergency.
What I found there, was my mother, looking at the cat, that was holding a DEAD BIRD!

I got a can of cat food and gave it to the cat, while my mother took the bird and threw it in the garbage.

A Gift From A Cat

Sometimes a Stray Cat wanders near where I live.
When It’s Outside I put out a bowl of cat food for it.
It sometimes comes up to me meowing and it even lets me pet it.

This Morning, something happened.
I opened the door because I heard something scratching on it.

On the other side of the door was the cat, with a DEAD MOUSE.

It started purring and looked really excited about the gift it got me.

I gave it some cat food and when it wasn’t looking, I picked up the mouse (While wearing gloves) and threw it in the garbage.

Has that ever happened to you?
If it hasn’t, how would you feel if it did happen?

Wii – “Disk Read Error” and strange scratches

[UPDATE] {I ordered the Wii Lens Cleaner Kit from Play-Asia.com and all the problems stopped. }

Sometimes, when I try to play a certain game on my Wii…”Super Smash Bros. Brawl”… I sometimes encounter an error. Before The Error screen, I can hear two distinct sounds coming from my wii, along with the sound of something sliding. Those sounds repeat several times before the error screen, but If I eject the disk, Turn the power off, and reinsert the disk… It works.

Why my Wii sometimes does this, I don’t know…

Oh, and I might as well tell you, sometimes when I eject my disk, I can see scratches that weren’t on the disk before… It only scratches that disk for some reason and doesn’t damage my other games…

I hope my Wii isn’t… haunted…

C# and C++

I’m pretty much an expert at C#, but that’s because it’s an easy programming language. I actually learned C# just so C++ will be easier for me to Learn, because the two are somewhat similar. I’m having a little trouble migrating to C++, but I’ll just do it slowly.

I want to be able to draw 3-D shapes…

Like I did with C#….

Eventually, I’ll be good at it, but for now… All I can do Is make a blank console window that closes immediately. I hear GUI programming in C++ is especially difficult, I hope I’ll be able to learn it. I sometimes get stuck when programming, but I always find a way around. I don’t go on technical forums asking for help, because it will give me more knowledge if I solve it by myself.

Now if only I was good at 3-D modeling…
